Kingston (2026)

For the last two years I’ve been working on my first feature film with my high school best friend and co-director Kalijah Rowe. I’m very happy to announce that we just had the privilege of premiering the film at this year’s Tribeca Festival, and it has been an absolute blast!

The film captures our class of 2024’s coming of age through the fictional Ivy League institution Kingston College, where three tales intertwine: a determined first-gen student seeks to resist her classmates’ elitism, a noncommittal situationship tests the fragility of Gen Z intimacy, and a tenured Chinese professor fights to innovate the language curriculum with the “help” of a delinquent legacy admit.
